A Book A Week - 2019

Reading is perhaps one of my favorite hobbies. I find reading to be the cheapest way to travel, see new worlds, meet new people, experience adventure and learn more about the world around me. Where nonfiction teaches us directly, fiction teaches us subtly, forcing us to question a character's motives, the authors intentions, plans, and personal philosophies. While 2018 was skewed towards nonfiction, I think 2019 will be a little heavier in fiction and philosophy.

I plan to read a book a week in 2019. I do not have the full list picked out yet, so the best I can do for now is to update it as I go.

1/01 - 1/04
1. The Final Empire - Mistborn #1

1/05 - 1/11
2. The Well of Ascension - Mistborn #2

1/12-1/19 (Took too long for a book this small, but we were doing performance reports at Uber ATG)
3. Salt: A World History

4. The Rebel

5. The Emperor of All Maladies

6. Killers of the Flower Moon

7. Calypso (Sedaris)

8. Me Talk Pretty One Day (Sedaris)

9. The Hobbit (reread)

3/1-3/12 (Bit of a slog on this one)
